Save the planet, step by step

FIRST STEP TOWARD SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Slowly, mindfully and step by step we are redefining the word “fashionable”. We propose an initiative to take responsibility not only for our environment, but also the entire planet and the people stepping on it and using its resources. Step into our shoes and take a journey with us!

OUR ACTIVITIES

01
BIO- AND RECYCLED MATERIALS
– fashion runs in our blood and it is a part of our nature. All the materials and components we use are produced in the European Union, 80% of them in Italy. When selecting materials, we pay close attention to certifications such as GOTS, OEKO-TEX, PETA, and FSC. We only use certified recycled materials and natural resources whose production has the lowest possible environmental impact. All our materials have at least 70% eco-content (organic or recycled).
To ensure the safe use of our products, we select only materials that do not contain any toxic substances and are not dyed with hazardous substances.

02
SHOES FOR YEARS
– the purpose of our shoes is that all should go smoothly and for as long as possible. We believe that a sustainable product is a durable product.
Our footwear is resistant to scuffs and scratches. We are detached from seasonality, but not from reality.
Our shoes maintain a classic and unconventional design that lets you smoothly enter each new season.

If your shoes ever need repair, or if you’d like additional lenses or decorative elements, just let us know — we’ll be happy to provide them for you (free of charge).

03
LOCAL PRODUCTION
– our shoes are manufactured by local craftsmen from Central-Eastern Poland in the family factory of the brand owner, who personally guarantees respectable working conditions and the utmost respect for workers’ rights.

The factory combines traditional craftsmanship with a modern machine park that reduces production waste by up to 80%. It is powered by its own photovoltaic farm, running on solar energy.

We are deeply committed to people: our factory employs i.a. individuals facing employment exclusion, including women nearing retirement age, people with disabilities, and immigrants from Ukraine seeking stability since the outbreak of the war in 2022. Our employees work in safe, dignified conditions and earn well above a fair wage. The factory is also fully accessible to people with disabilities — a value especially close to our hearts, as its founder himself used a wheelchair and, in a twist of fate, had both legs amputated.

For these efforts, we are proud to have been honored with the prestigious Lodołamacze award (by the Polish Labour Inspectorate), recognizing the most socially responsible companies in Poland.

04
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AND SOCIAL IMPACT
– more than 90% of our employees are women. We strongly support women’s initiatives and empowerment, reaching for equal rights and opportunities. We do not judge or jump to conclusions – instead we try to encourage ourselves and others to be understanding and supportive.  We care about women’s health i.a. by organizing breast mammography screenings during work hours and covering the costs if they are not reimbursed by the National Health Fund (NFZ). Together, we participate in charitable initiatives for the local community. We have provided employment and helped arrange new homes for several women from Ukraine who arrived in our town fleeing the war; some of them are still with us today! We believe in the power of women. Together, step by step, we can do more!

We collaborate with Fashion Revolution on various initiatives. AGAZI is also an ambassador for the Play Sustain Foundation. We have a partnership with New World Guardians, where every purchase supports impactful aid projects and takes a stand for positive change.

In addition, in 2023, we were recognized as a positive impact start-up by Kozminski Business Hub. As a socially responsible company that supports people with disabilities, we received the Lodołamacze 2025 award.

05
SUPPLIERS
– we verify our local and international suppliers not only in legal terms, but also in an ethical and human context. We check, among other things, their health and safety regulations policy. We do not cooperate with contractors who violate any living creature’s rights. We want to ensure that the rights of people — regardless of age, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, or any other factor — as well as the rights of animals and our planet, are fully respected as we move forward together.

06
ZERO WASTE
– step by step, we try to reduce production waste to the bare minimum. We produce each season in limited quantities and add more pieces only when there is demand, helping us reduce overproduction. We allocate any surplus materials to limited collections or use them as additional elements in our footwear. For example, scraps of materials are used to make decorative inserts for the DIANE loafer model.

We focus on technology, and we are not afraid of innovation. Thanks to the support of the European Union, our factory is equipped with modern machinery that helps reduce waste from shoe production by up to 80%. We are in constant search of better solutions which allow us to take the next steps toward the so-called “zero impact”.

07
BOX AND PACKAGING
– the way we shop has changed — one click, and your order is at your door. But behind the convenience lies a hidden cost: tons of packaging that end up in landfills, burned, or left to pollute our planet.

We wanted to break this pattern. That’s why our products are packed in the most beautiful boxes we could imagine. They aren’t just containers — they’re designed to be kept, reused, and loved. We avoid plastic wherever possible, and any fillers inside come from materials that already had a life before.

We also skip unnecessary extras like printed ‘thank you’ notes — you don’t need a card to know how grateful we are, do you? Especially when it would just end up in the bin.

For us, packaging isn’t an afterthought. It’s a chance to prove that beauty, responsibility, and respect for the planet can go hand in hand.

08
WE DO NOT SUPPORT CONSUMERISM
– our shoes are born from the idea of eco-design: minimalist, yet fashionable. Every pair is created to be versatile, so you need fewer shoes and consume less. We strip away unnecessary decoration, making each design easier to recycle when its journey ends.

For us, style and responsibility are not opposites — they are one and the same.

We also support thoughtful purchases. Black Friday is definitely not our day – we do not have a policy of seasonal deals and sales campaigns. We are more than happy when you make purchasing decisions consciously, step by step. Remember, that which is most “eco” is that which you already have in your wardrobe!

09
CRUELTY FREE ONLY
– nothing which brings harm, especially to animals, can be fashionable to us. Every component of our products is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

10
“SECOND LEG” SECOND CIRCUIT
– are you bored with our shoes? Feel free to send them back to us! We will clean them, replace the insoles and laces and pass them on to someone who is in need. We collaborate with charitable organizations like the Kraina Foundation (which helps individuals facing social exclusion for various reasons, including illness, disability, immigration, and life challenges) and the One Day Foundation (which supports youth from orphanages who need to become self-sufficient, find a source of income, and most importantly, secure a home before they turn 18, the age at which they must leave state facilities.

BOX AND PACKAGING
This is the best example confirming the thesis that “eco” has many faces. For us, the eco-box shouldn’t be so boring that you want to throw it away right after unpacking it. You can reuse it according to your own preferences and needs.
